Abstract

Borderline ovarian tumors (BOTs) form a separate entity within the group of epithelial ovarian tumors acknowledged by the International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics (FIGO) in 1961 and adopted by the World Health Organization (WHO) in 1973.
