The application of the well-defined concept of information can fundamentally change our view of things.
Keywords: Information; Shannon’s Information; View of Things; Intelligence; Gospel of John
A lot has already been written about information. This is not surprising, as we live in an information age today. However, the concept of information has so far hardly found its way into physics and can therefore hardly be found in physics textbooks. One thinks without saving the information term. However, the meaning and potential of this term should be highly valued for our worldview and our lives. In order to be able to treat the concept of information meaningfully, a clear compact definition is first required, which could apply to all scientific disciplines in an age of linguistic confusion about the concept of information. For these I suggests
Information is the Composition of an Ensemble of Symbols of a Certain Sequence
This definition includes all essential aspects of the concept of information such as statistics, syntax (code), semantics and pragmatics. The phrase „certain sequence “refers to the semantic and indextricably linked to it, the pragmatic (semantopragmatic). Too many aspects should be not be used, otherwise you will no longer work with them in a meaningful way. As valuable as it is to consider as many aspects of information as possible, it is sufficient to use only the aspects of statistics with code and semantopragmatics. The advantage of SHANNON’s information theory is that when it is applied, natural laws can be formulated mathematically, which is usually what happens. It is also adventageous to primarily consider the statistical aspect. This also covers logic (God is a God of logic „Logos “). There are a number of ways of understanding the concept of information. Two perspectives are particulaly noteworthy: On the one hand, the view of materialim, which tries to grasp information exclusively using the concepts of matter and energy. On the other hand, the view that information contains more, namely an intangible component. In order to find the right perspective here, we need to see it from a higher perspective, namely from the perspective of Holy Scripture. Here is written in the Gospel of John chapter 1, [1-3] and verse 14: “The Word became flesh “. The Word is certainly information and the flesh is certainly matter. This shows in a biblical manner and clearly, that matter must be identified with information. Since according to Gospel of John chapter 1, verse 3 all things – even in significate matter – ware created by the Word; it follows that matter has to do with information.
Information can only be generated through intelligence [4,5].
